William E. Byrne III, M.D.
Board Certified Gynecologist

Dr. Byrne received his Bachelor of Science from the United States Military Academy, West Point N.Y.. After serving in the U.S. Army from 1965-1970. He graduated and completed  his Obstetric Gynecology training at Penn State University School of Medicine Milton S. Hershey Medical Center
He is a fellow of the American College of Obstetrics & Gynecology.

Dr Byrne joined Women’s Cancer Center of Central Pa
in January 2007, after practicing and teaching Obstetrics &Gynecology for nearly 30  years in this area.  His addition to our practice has augmented our ability to provide expert care in benign gynecologic issues such as menopause management, osteoporosis management risk assessment and gynecologic cancer prevention.  In addition, he is primarily responsible for our hospital rounds, and assists in our major surgeries.
